Repost: Best mineral and herbal supplements for hypothyroidism....?!

Question: I currently take Gugglipid, Tonalin CLA, Fish Oil, Calcium Citrate, Hoodia, Multivitamin for women, and near TOM Evening Primrose oil. I feel like I need more energy and want a little more metabolic burn. I do an hour of cardio 3x or more a week and weights 2x a week. My sleep is not good as is should be and I really want to stay away from sleeping pills and do natural things to boost energy and then have good sleep at night.

Yes, I am on Armour. 60 mg a day, dr says levels are fine. Sorry. I did Synthroid as it did nothing for me. I just feel like I need more energy and brain fog is so bad.

JUst because doctor says your levels are fine, does not make it so. When on ARmour, the free t4 should be at least midrange and the free t3 high in range or slightly over. If your doctor is adjusting your Armour by TSH, you are most likely undermedicated and that's why you are still having problems.

As far as supplements, selenium can help with the conversion of T4 to T3.

I am hypothyroid and also on Armour. I do take many supplements as well like thyroid essentials, digestive enzymes, essential fatty acids, oste biflex, C, tri-fiber, B complex, D-calcium-magnesium, and iodine. I did make sure my free t4 was midrange and free t3 high in range before starting the iodine and I did make sure I was iodine deficient first as well.

Boy you sure are wasting a long of your money on junk but hey there's a sucker born every minute I guess.
