Answers: it is very slow and I just gain weight even though I eat normally and exercise every day.

Ok so

I will give you some tips to increase your metabolism

1) Train with weights! Training with weights boosts your metabolism in a number of ways. It has been proven that for hours or even days after training with weights that your metabolism increases greatly. Muscle tissue is metabolically active so it requires calories even when at rest. Muscle tissue also helps increase the number of fat burning enzymes in your body.

2)Eat little and often - there's evidence that eating small, regular meals throughout the day, rather than one or two large meals, may help to keep your metabolism ticking over. Surprisingly, around 10 percent of the calories we use each day go on digesting and absorbing food - so the more times you eat, the greater this effect is likely to be.

3)Eat plenty of protein-rich foods

4)Spice up meals - it's not an old wives tale after all! Spices like chili are thought to raise metabolism by up to 50 percent for up to three hours after eating

5)Swap you daily cupp of tea for green tea - there's evidence that it contains antioxidants that speed up metabolism.

6)Have a sauna - being very hot is also thought to boost metabolism by about 20 percent

7)Boost your breakfast - Eating a breakfast high in complex carbohydrates like whole grain cereal with skim milk and fruit will give you a long sustained energy source that keeps your metabolism at its optimum level well until lunch.

8) Don't drink alcohol

9) drink cold water - your body will use more calories trying to raise the temperature of cold water to the optimum temperature - simple yet effective

Your metabolism depends on your size (weight and height), exercise, food intake and unfortunately genetics. You'll need to change either the food you're eating or the amount of exercise you do to make a difference.

It just means a little shake up. If you normally jog a mile a day, make it a mile of swimming or do some weights etc.

Drink ice cold water. Doing so will help you lose weight and kick start your metablosim

Define 'eating normally' and 'daily exercise' -
