I lost over 120 lbs in less than a year...?!

Question: I currently take in exactly 1800 calories a day (yes I count!) lol. I am 6 foot 2 inches tall, Female, and 21 years old. I weigh 183 lbs and used to weigh 300+ at this time last year.... What is your opinion on me increasing my calorie intake to 2,000 calories a day seeing as though accoring to the daily caloric needs calculator with my level of exersize I can take in 2500+ to maintain my current body weight. I know an extra 200 calories will not make a difference, but coming so far on my own without any diet plans, pills, or surgery makes me never want to go back... I need some assurance...

More importantly, are you eating the right foods? Enough protein, calcium, etc? Congrats on the weightloss, stay healthy.

Whoa!

120? What did you do?

New year! I'd like to lose weight, too.

sounds fine
GOOD JOB! honestly!! most people who lose that much weight have cheated with either pills or surgery.

Wow... that's a lot of pounds....

Can we see some before and after photos?

Congratulations! Well done -- you will feel, move and live much better this year.

My sister also lost almost 100 pounds (she's 5'9", and went from 239 to 144 in about a year) by exercising vigorously for at least 20 minutes per day and drinking A LOT of water.

She said the water was the most important thing as far as maintaining her weight, too.
