I need to lose weight. HELP!?!

Question: i am 21 years old about 5'3" and somewhere around 175lbs. I have always had a problem with my weight and nothing seems to work for me. I've tried eating healthy and i've tried just about all of the weight loss pills there are and i even tried weight watchers. i recently went on anxiety medication and i gained even more weight. i try to exercise as much as i can but i have severe asthma so i cant really do very much otherwise i have attacks. i am a college student living in a dorm environment so i have some diet limitations considering i have to eat in the dining halls. also, i dont eat any seafood or red meat, the only meat i eat is chicken. i would really like to lose weight and i need some suggestions because i am really starting to hate the way i look. thank you.

YAY you're sorta vegetarian.

Well...This is what I do.

As far as food goes - have about 5 - 6 meals a day.
This is a normal day for me:

Breakfast:
Weetbix and fruit (either banana, pear or peach)
Glass of natural fruit juice

Morning tea:
Glass of milk
Piece of whole meal bread, with avocado.

Lunch:
Salad with NO dressing!! (its so unhealthy)
Boring I know - but you can add avocado, HOME MADE croutons (just toast bread) capsicum, cucumber and occasionally (once a week) 2 tablespoons of cooked pasta.
Glass of water

After noon tea:
Nuts!
Glass of milk!

Dinner:
Wow, this is a big category.

Last night I had vegetarian meat balls (being a vegetarian)
It's my mummy's recipe =D

1 medium onion, finely chopped
2/3 of a cup of cheese
4 slices wholemeal breadcrumbs (just chuck 4 slices of bread into a food processor)
2 tablespoons of milk
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
3 beaten eggs
1 small can of tomato soup

Method!
-Combine all ingredients (except tomato soup) into flattened balls
-Saute slowly till brown on both sides
-Put in a baking dish.
-Pour can of tomato soup as well as a can of water (just fill the same can with tap water) over the meat balls
-Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes

(Im not sure what 180 is in farenheight)

But yes! It is SO yum.
You must try them :)
Seriously.. Probably my favourite food.

As for other dinners, you can have
Stirfry, baked potato (not too many!), salads, fish (if you eat meat) soy sausages - they're alot healthier, rice and vegetable etc.

Just keep your diet mostly natural.
No soft drink or candy or takeaway food.

Exercises!
Try walking for about 20-30 minutes per day.
Try stepping up on a step, then stepping down 50 times (good cardio exercise)
SKIPPING! its very good for you!
Try jumping and every 4 jumps, lift your leg up towards your Bum then do another 4 jumps and switch legs

But I recommend walking!

The first day is the hardest, then you get used to it.

God sorry for all the typing =P

Good luck dude!

Hi,

everything I used to try to do 2 lose stupid fat always seemed to backfire or make me feel crappy too.

Being a college student also, I certainly understand how you feel...

Here's a good site I found that really helped teach me the right exercises and fat loss tips even while living in the dorm. It gave me great workouts and tips and showed me what I was doing wrong before...

http://howtogetsixpackabs.com

hope that helps..

Cheers!
