Putting on weight.......?!


Question: i'm slim and small in size.
I dance and teach dance, i train and tone at the gym 3/4 times a week and i have sooo much energy....however when i'm under emotion strain (as now) i loose too much weight and although i eat healthly and still have pig out days, i can't seem to keep the weight on.....
can anyone suggest a way of adding weight but in the healthiest way poss.
my appetites not huge so eating loads of bugers won't help x

Eat more carbs and enjoy you lucky thang you but, one mans blessing, is another mans curse. I can't seem to loose my weight, you can have some of mine.

My lil' sister has this same problem. One of the ways she keeps her weight on is added protein and good carbs. Her appetite is healthy usually but at times she can't make her self eat another bite. She drinks protein drinks (or other supplement drinks) to fulfill her need for liquids during the day but at the same time give her the nutrients she can't consume from not being hungry.

The bad part of the whole thing is it can get rather expensive. Good luck!

I would eat some complex carbs, like pasta and potatoes.

Don't eat lots of burgers even if you have the appetite. That aint good for ya.

Eat lots of carbs, but not too much starchy carbs. That is, eat more vegetables and fruits etc.

And eat lots of oily fish. About once or twice a week. As for red meat, beef is a good choice.

all are excersing for slim. to less their weight. be slim. it is beautiful...and no need for big size.

Keep the same appetite, or increase it a bit by adding more good fats to gain weight but keep you healthy, e.g. eating nuts and greasy fish (mackerel) often.
You could also reduce the amount of vigrorous exercise, e.g. fast walking instead of running, but I reckon the food method would be better.
