well i used to wrestle alot and i noticed the most useful way to lose weight was to eat a steady diet and workout.

I ate this almost every day.

breakfast
oatmeal
Orange juice

Brunch
apple/ or fruit of choice

Lunch
sandwich made of
2 wheat bread slices
cheese
turkey
lettuce
tomato
water to drink

afternoon snack
I usually held this off until after i did my work out
apple slices and water

dinner since i was living at home i ate what ever my mom cooked but if u have a choice i used to eat cereal with the exact measurements on the box.

The main idea is to not eat much at night time cause you are not working when u sleep so its just wasted during the night. the one thing i did to help with the hunger urges is drink water. Water is never bad and will make u feel full.

For work out i ran for 30 to 45 mins at 6mph then did various wind sprints.

This makes ur work outs short but to make them easy play a spot such as soccer,or basketball.

If u can stick to this ull lose weight pretty fast. The thing you need to focus on is your commitment to your diet if u break ur diet to man times then your just wasting time u really have to try your best to follow ur diet. good luck and keep dieting in moderation.

Sigh...So many weight conscious girls....I wonder how they're doing in school hmmmmmmmmm

You dont need to lose ANY more weight if you are only 115. Losing more will only hurt you. If you are too skinny, they will say

"wow you look unhealthy, eat a sandwich"


Grow up. its not going to make you any prettier or sexier by being skinnier.

Honestly, you don't need to lose weight you're only 13 and still growing. But ofcourse that doesn't mean you can't become healthier, which most likely will have a side effect of losing weight if you're not healthy already. so, just eat those veggies and drink water and no crap food like fast food or candy. Also, you can go running with each other for a little while everyday. Just stick with it and be patient.

umm.
well i personally dont need to lose weight,
but lots of exercise.
and eat the pyramid foods.
try to stay away from sugary things:
chocolate,
candy.
stuff like that.
fer the excercise part,
do push ups.
sit ups,
go running.
anything that will make you stay in shape.

Concentrate on your school work to take your mind off eating, lay off junk food of all kinds, lay off sugar in all forms, drink lots of water and eat lots of fruits and veggies and lean protein and include some whole grains, like brown rice, wheat pasta, wheat bread. Stay away from the white food, sugar, potatoes, white pasta, etc. Go jogging as often as you can. If you don't like to jog, take walks. Do at least 30 minutes of cardio every day, lift weights, and don't cut your calories too much or you won't have the strength to work out. Also, if you cut calories too much your body will hold onto the weight it has and you won't lose any weight, but you might lose muscle, a big no-no.

Your ideal weight depends on a lot of different criteria. It would be best for you to just firm up with exercise and for your friend to see her doc for some really safe advice.

well......i know i shouldnt be telling you tips even though im only 11 you really should be talking to a doctor before you do anyhting and if says that or your friend could just lose a tiny bit of wheight...then ask him what would be a healthy way to lose maybe insted of starving yourself,exersice. Rember my sister is 15 and she wheighs about 130 and she dosnt want to lose wheight. trust me on this I've read about girls who stare themselves,it a'int preety

Just do little things right now, like walking your dog if you have one, maybe taking a jog together.

Also, eat as healthily as possible. I know it doesn't sound like fun right now, but it feels so good. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies, but make sure you get a little protein and some carbs in there.

Eat 5-7 SMALL meals throughout the day, it's easier for your body to digest and burn off than a big meal.

ONLY eat when you're hungry.

Drink a LOT of water. Cold water especially burns calories.

Remember that eating healthy is way more important than eating less. Also, lay off fatty foods and carbohydrates. You obviously know why you should lay off the fatty food. Laying off the carbs is also insanely helpful. This is because carbs are your bodys main source of energy. Starving your body of carbohydrates will cause the body to burn fat to get energy. Also you need to exercise. You don't need to life weights or anything like that, just go on a 2-mile run 2 times a week or more. Good luck.

grab whatever she eats and take a bigger portion, then run and she will run after you. good trick to get both of you start the habit of running. you become sexier and she will come out sexy. have fun!!!

Don't diet at 13 unless you are under a doctor's care! The best thing to do is make a vow to eat healthy together and to be active. Like take walks together or get involved in the same sport at school, somthing like that. Buy some workout DVD's and do that after school.

You don't need to lose weight at all...if you want to look thinner, weight train. It'll add muscle, tone you up, make your body look a bit more feminine even... 115 lbs. is a good weight, unless you're like....4'6"...

As for your friend, she probably does need to lose a bit of weight to be healthy. Go on walks with her, or jog, or dance, or swim...anything to that affect, as long as her heart beat is faster than when she's resting, it'll help with weight loss. And the cardio won't hurt you either, but don't expect to lose weight, as you don't need it and your body doens't need to burn the fat. Weight training won't hurt her either, it'll help her look thinner, faster.

A good diet will do wonders as well, just make sure you're getting carbs, fats, proteins, veggies, fruits, and water every day. Very little junk food, and you'll look great in no time :)

Be patient as well, at your age you probably shouldn't be losing more than 1, MAYBE 2 pounds a week.
