How many pounds should i loose?!


Question: ok so i was 170 and only 5'3" and i was ony 16 so i was like woa! i cant do this anymore so i started going tot he gym and a healthy diet witht he help of a professional. i lost 30 pounds in like 5 months. and right now im 140. the doctor said im fine. and the rest is up to me. so i want to be 110; do you think thatd be too skinny? im 17 now. and im going off to college so i wanna look good. but mostly i want to be healthy

At 140 pounds, you are just below the "overweight" category. A normal weight for your height is from 104 to 140 pounds. A weight of 125 pounds is in the middle of the "normal" range and will be easier to maintain than 110.

To go from 170 down to 110 is a pretty big amount of weight to lose in such a long time, I am 5'1 and went from 175 to 130 in about a year and a half.. If you'd like to go down to 110 just make sure you still eat enuf foods, so u will stay healthy and have enuf energy to work out.
