What should i eat daily? [diet]?!


Question: im 14 years old and i weigh 177 lbs
im 5'7
my goal weight is 150lbs by march
but i've been somewhat starving myself
=/
i need help
i dont know what to eat
what should i eat in the morning?
in the afternoon (school lunch)
and for dinner if possible
whats good for me?
im not a big fan of vegetables
=/
and i strongly dislike tomatoes
i want to loose 2lbs a week
and i want to keep it off
i dance every single day
i sometimes walk from school to my house which is about 6 blocks
i dont get gym in school [i might get it this month, not sure]
im not in any sport
so yea
help please?

Hm, well first things first don't skip meals or starve yerself..it will put yer body in starvation mode and you wont lose any weight - weird, i know. And since yer active with dance, you burn calaries, so you don't really need to go on a diet, just eat with proportion. Don't overdo it when you eat. Some things i do is 1. use salad plates for all meals, because you'll be less likely to take huge portions 2. eating out? ask for a box or 'doggy bag' and save half your meal for later 3. yer like my brother with the vegetables haha, but yenno...salad is a vegetable and very delicious, but just because it's a salad doesnt always mean it's healthy, too much 'milky' dressing (ranch, ceaser) adds lots of calaries, or salads at restaurants with things in it. i suggest asking for salad on the side, and they have spritzer dressing by wishbone, its one calarie per spray.

Some things to help you decide serving sizes i'll help you with also;
Pasta or grains - one cup..or the size of a computer mouse, is one serving.

You can also still eat deserts and stuff, like brownies and cake..but make sure its a 2in-by-2in square..or about the size of a normal post-it note of cake,brownie or cookie is just enough of a good thing. you'll find out all you need is a bite or two of something and it will be just as satisfying and stuffind your face with alot of it.

as far as chips go, a dserving is oly 10 to 15 chips. since the 2-to-3-ounce snack bags often contain more (like two or three servings!), buy large bags, then divide portions into resealable baggies..it will limit you and satisfy you..you can take one baggie for lunch durring the day, a piece of fruit (apple, orange, bannana, whatever you like!)

Drinks pay a huge part in weight, most people take them for granted, like juices and sodas. most drink bottles and cans hold 12, 16, or even 20 ounces, but a serving is only 8 ounces! I'd go for diet drinks, and lots of water! water clenses yer system. and many diet sodas now-a-days taste like the regular version. coke zero for example, i swear to you tastes like the real thing..same with diet doctor pepper, sprite zero, etc. drinks are wasted calaries, for real.

just pay attention to portions on the back of things..yer active so you'll be fine. Goodluck though, hun. [:

Avoid eating grains... Bread, flour, corn, pasta, rice, etc.. Increase the veggies you DO like.. and if there really aren't any, increase your fresh fruit. Be sure you get plenty of "healthy fat" too. Skip corn, soy, and other "vegetable" oils and go with coconut and olive oil. Otherwise, eat whole foods from natural sources whenever possible. I realize you're limited to what Mom cooks, but cutting out the grains (and white potatoes) will make a HUGE difference... I promise. Forget the low-fat camp- you will not lose weight eating rice-cakes and fat free cookies.

well thats the first mistake stop starving yourself!!!! You need to eat like 6-8 small small mini meals a day... it will speed up your metabolism sooooo fast that anything you put in your mouth will be burned soo fast.. eat every 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours.

sample menu.. breakfast... large bowl of oatmeal w fruit and toast.
snack piece of fruit
lunch -- tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread with bowl of soup
snack fruit
dinner.... whole wheat pasta or lentil soup w veggies.. also tabbouli salad is good as well
snack fruit

just remember 6-8 small meals a day!!!!! that is the key!!!!!!!

here is a 1,200 calorie diet:
Breakfast
Amount Item Protein Carbs Fats Calories
12 ounces coffee-w/caffeine
1 each Bagel-plain, Lenders Bake Shop
2 tbsp Peanut butter- creamy
1 tbsp Cream, fluid, half and half

AM Snack
1 each apple-medium with peel

Lunch
3 ounces chicken breast/ white meat
12 ounces water
.25 cup Croutons-plain
1 large Salad-lrg.
4 tbps Thousand island-reduced cal. Kraft

PM Snack
1 each apple-medium with peel

Dinner
3 ounces chicken breast/ white meat
1 cup pasta, corn cooked
1 small salad-sm.
2 tbps thousand island- reduced cal. Kraft Total:

DON'T STARVE YOURSELF!!!!!! worst thing to do.
just exercise/and jog..try to drink water
