Can you be anorexic and heavy?!

Question: i've heard people saying that you can't be an anoretic if you're heavy. i personally think this is bull... i used to be 260 pounds and i've eaten 500 calories a day and now i'm 200 pounds. (i was bulimic for a year before my anorexia started at the beginning of 2007).

what do you guys think?

If you are normal or overweight and have the common symptoms of anorexia nervosa, you will be classed as having EDNOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified). Anorexia Nervosa is diagnosed once a person has a BMI of under 17.5

Yes, you can be anorexic and still be heavy.

You can have anorexia and be heavy, but you can't be "anorexic" and be heavy.

As for your anorexia- please go get help. No one I know that have recovered from it would ever want to relive it.

Nope its 17.5(and thats why Im anoerixic when im really not!)
