12 and need a diet very badly?!


Question: Im 12 and 4' 10". I am severely overwieght! 126 pounds. I need to lose weight fast! It has to be safe though. I want to be able to eat. Ill take any help.I AM LOSING HOPE! i dont know what to do! please i am desperate! any tips or websites? (please dont make fun of me!)

ok, follow these rules, and you will lose 40 pounds in a year!
1.between each bite, put down your fork and take a sip of water.(makes you eat slower which makes you eat 15% less during each meal)
2. if your still hungry after a meal, wait 20 minutes and you probably wont be, (if you are, then you can have a little more, you dont wanna starve yourself!!)
3.when you want soda or juice, drink water (flavor water iis good too!)
5. NO eating junkfood, NO eating after 7:30pm, NO starving yourself
4. run, walk, jog, bike, exercise for 30 minutes a day. (make sure to stretch before exercising!)
5. eat healthy (frozen veggies are as good as organic ones, and they are easy to prepare and cheap!)
6.get a good night's sleep every night

to help subside huger i would eat like a few crackers and Drink lots of water

stick to fresh fruit and veg lean meat plenty of water 30 power walk twice a day (have one day off from exercise and diet & make it the same day it keeps you focused)i stayed on this for 3 months and i lost 26pounds keep away from processed foods and eat 6 times a day if u feel hungry i thd a handful of nuts

believe in yourself and after all it's your beauty on the line so don't quit

Excercise is the key.

If you try to lose weight through diet alone - your body will fight it. You most likely will also get depressed.

Excercise builds muscle and burns fat. In fact the more muscle you have, the more fat your body will burn - even when you are not excercising, you will burn calories. Which means you can eat more.

Try to excercise for an hour a day at least 5 days a week. Work hard enough to get your heart rate up - but not so hard that you cant talk or breath properly.

But even more importantly, don't worry about what the scales say. Focus more on how you feel and what your body is telling you.

Make sure you eat regular meals with 'real' food (meat, whole grains and fresh fruit and vegetables). Avoid snack foods and added sugar.

I've battled my weight all my life and have only recently had any real success. I've lost 70 pound over the last year and it is all because of excercise.

You are very young and now is the time to develop good life long habits. Start simple - maybe just a walk every day. Maybe find a flight of stairs to run up and down. Set goals then try to increase them every week.
