Yes, but keep in mind your body burns calories all day long without you even trying- If you are sitting, walking, cleaning house, working, etc. So you wouldn't have to exercise with a goal to burn 1229 calories. That would be extreme, just a few hundred above and beyond your normal routine to see results over time.
