Weight.................?!


Question: okay i been having weight problems for ever i am 13 and i weight 145 adn 4'11 I AM SOOO OVERWEIGHT! i have a plan too exices everday 100 to 200 calories burn and doo push upp and thing to not get flabby lol i am cutting back all sweets and 500 calories a day. i am walking with the calories burn (100 and 200) lol i am try to lose 50 lbs i am willing to push it lol u think i can lose that much at the end of march or how much to do it healthy with what i am doing plus anything i sure work on eles to lose the pounds!?? thk!

You should be trying for 42 lbs, at the most. For 4' 11", the healthy weight range is from 103-113 for small frame, 111-123 for medium frame, and 120-134 for large frame.

And you should talk to your doctor and your parents to get a better idea of how to go about this, this isn't something you should be trying to do by yourself.

Losing 50 by March is a bit too much to expect. you need a more realistic goal.

You also need to be planning for what happens when you reach that goal. Over 90% of everyone who diets to lose weight go back to their old eating patterns when they reach their goal. You need to plan for the time beyond your goal, otherwise you will gain back all you lost and probably a little extra.

When you have a weight problem, losing it is only half the battle. Keeping it off is the other half!
