Taking whey protein?!


Question: I am 17 years old and have been lifting weights in school first mod for almost half a semester. I was wondering if i could take the protein shake at like 7:00am because then the class starts at 7:40 but we dont start lifting until about 8:00. I always heard that you have to take it right before you lift and right after you lift if you want good results, but if im lifting at school i cant take it after because im not going to make my shake at school. My other question is on when i should take the protein shake when im at home because i always heard to take it before and right after lifting.

JAKE, TAKING THE SHAKE AT 7:00 AM IS PERFECT, YOU JUST NEED TO HAVE THE PROTEIN THERE WHEN YOU WORKOUT, SO TAKING AN HOUR BEFORE IS FINE, AS LONG AS THE PROTEIN IS THERE FOR THE WORKOUT, WHEN YOU NEED IT. AFTER THE WORKOUT IS MORE IMPORTANT BECAUSE THE MUSCLES AS STARVING FOR PROTEIN, I WOULD SUGGEST TAKING THE SHAKE ALREADY PREPARE FROM YOUR HOME, IN A GYM BAG OR SOMETHING, PREPARE IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE AND KEEP IT IN YOUR GYM BAG, OR TAKE THE POWDER IN A SHAKE FROM HOME, AND BUY A MILK AT SCHOOL AND ADD IT TO IT AFTER YOUR WORKOUT. REGARDING TAKING IT A HOME, YOU CAN TAKE IT ANYTIME YOU WANT, AS A SNACK, OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
