What is the best exercise/diet plan for someone who is very limited?!


Question: I have a very bad back, and I need to lose almost 200 lbs. I am trying to get a Breast reduction so weight loss before hand is a must. I am having problems getting and staying motivated, as well as trying to find that one exercise/diet/life change plan that works with and for me. Please give me a few great safe ideas.

water aerobics are great for people who are limited in movement. that and walking/running in water. It's great because the rate of injury would comparitively be rather low to exersizing on land.

Dieting i suggest not cutting whole food groups out. Dont say 'i cant have any sugar' because this will be hard to stick to and you may lose motivation.

Just keep to the basics such as lots of fruit and veg, lots of water, good sleep. Cut down on the bad foods, you know which ones they are! I think this would work better than having a set plan that is so crazily different to what you're eating now. The big change would be hard to keep to, so just keep it more casual, less of a jump for your body.

For the motivation maybe have a friend do this with you. Also keeping a written diary of your feelings, statistics, whats working, what you feel you may need to change. This will help keep you motivated.

What i've found useful was buying clothes too small for me and that motivates me to lose weight so i can wear them. It's a naughty habbit because it's expensive! but it felt great :)

as long as you get the right amount vitamins and minerals your in the safe zone

im a wrestler and usually before a meet i cut 3 to 4 pounds to make weight and thats within 5-8hrs

If u want to reduce, daily play tennis.
