How many calories should a 13 year old girl consume a day?!


Question: I am 13 and I weigh 125. I'm 5'3" and i dont exactly exercise daily. I want to loose about 10-15 pounds. Dont tell me that I'm not overweight, i know im not i just want to loose some weight! and dont tell me that i dont need to be worrying about calorie intake. How many calories should I consume daily so that I can loose some weight?? How long will it take me? I want to be healthy. Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't worry about calorie intake- why don't you start with exercise and drinking water. Most people your age are very dehydrated! Your body will store up other things if it worried there is a shortage of water- so whatever you do: keep drinking water!

If you starve your body of fuel at such a young age your risk messing up your bodies natural growth pattern and maturing process.

Don't think of calories- but what you can omit. Do you really need that cookie? Water instead of soda will save you 100+ calories. Think like that and add healthy alternative instead of the junk you eat now.

You will be much healthier!

Eat More Salad...

it all depends on how much you're exercising
if not any 1800 is a good place to start

wow u eigh like way more than me and im taller and older than u wow um eat 8oo-1,100 calories eat ur grenns wthiout dressings
