How to get rid of fast food cravings?!

Question: i have officially quit fast food. I'm 16 and a half and weigh between 100-200lbs. i'm done with it, buying excersize equipment, hopefully getting a six pack and eating the righter foods. how should I go about doing this? also how long will it take for these mcdonalds cravings to lift and go away? SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE. By the way i'm not obese I just need to eat better and actually workout.

well it ussally takes 2 weeks and when you have mcdonald sraving eat some like helathy that tast good and also i ussally have cravings for junk food and i have a fast food meal only ONCE a month

watch "supersize me" it shows all the nast things that you get from fast food, really turned me off to McDonalds!

Watch the documentary "Supersize Me". Trust me, you'll never even want to look at fast food again.

The less you eat there, the less you will crave it. They will go away, just give it time.

Drink PLENTY of water. When you get cravings, eat a healthy snack like a cut up cucumber or some carrot sticks, then give yourself a BIG PAT ON THE BACK for making a change for the better!

Watch the movie Supersize Me. I didn't eat fast food for a whole year after watching that movie. Eww.

Well there you have it! In the last sentence of your question, you stated that you need to eat better and actually work out.
I really think that your McDonald's cravings might be related to a number of factors. If you happen to be growing, your body will be craving food all the time. Since you've been eating McDonald's, that's what your brain is likely to tell you to eat. Also, if you start to cut back on your food intake and exercise more, you'll be craving food all the time.
It's really very simple, just the way you said it. Eat better (and you'll start wanting healthier foods instead of McDonald's) and be sure to include foods with all the protein, vitamins and minerals your body needs to be healthy...
and actually work out - do a simple routine consistently. Try not to go overboard right away. It will just make those McDonald's cravings worse, and you'll tear your muscles down instead of building them up!
I'm sure you know enough to avoid sweets and soft drinks.
Lots of kids your age don't care about their health. It's nice to see that you do!
Good luck with your regimen!
