I don't think you sound like you are fat at all based on what you mentioned. But, everyone can carry weight in different ways so if you feel fat then these are a few things that might help you feel better about yourself.

These are the things that I have found work for me:
- Eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks (even if you aren't hungry!)
- Some breakfast ideas: egg whites, weight control oatmeal, whole wheat toast
- Some lunch ideas: salads loaded with veggies and low cal dressing, soup-to-go (it's in a cup you would take to school), sandwiches with/o mayo (which sucks but you get used to it)
- Dinner: the main thing to do is smaller portions, maybe start by visualizing how much you would usually take and reduce that
- Snacks: apples, string cheese, hummus (some people don't like this though!)
- If you have dogs run around and act like an idiot with them, they like it and you get some extra exercise!
- Biggest thing - try to cut out soda and other sugars. It's really hard at first but makes a BIG difference!!

Good luck with everything! I'm sure you will do great.

Also, if you are interested www.sparkpeople.com is a great site that is free, helps you work out a diet, suggests activities, and offers great support through online-groups you can sign up with. It lets you set a target weight and date and then walks you through how many calories to eat a day. PLUS, it will make a customized meal plan daily for you if you want!! Which is VERY HELPFUL when you run out of ideas.

Good luck:

1. Start a diet - I think Winter diet is very appropriate for you to start
2. Exercise - it can be just walk (5 km per day at the beginning), run, dance
3. Change the diet after two weeks - start new one, continuing exercising. The secret is the body not to get used with the particular diet
4. Do not give up if you do not lose weight as fast as you want. The body needs time to react.
