First of all, super skinny is unrealistic for most people--genetics determines the heft of our bones and fat placement. But you can lose weight and stay healthy.

Diet and exercise are the way. Try running and walking a little more, and get some fun workout tapes; Tae Bo is fun, as is Richard Simmons. See if your parents' gym membership has a guest pass for you. As a young teen, you should focus on cardio (biking, swimming, running) and do minimal weightlifting. Get up 1/2 hour early every morning. On odd days, do some jogging or biking; on even days, do push ups and sit ups.

Ask your parents if you can shop for groceries with them and help them cook. At the store, avoid foods with lots of salt/monosodium glutamate, high fructose corn syrup, and even preservatives. Instead, choose raw fruits and veggies, frozen veggies, dried fruits, and white meats. Don't eat too much meat--a serving is about the size of your palm. Try bringing your own foods everywhere (make salads for lunch everyday--just prewash/prepare everything on Sunday nights; keep Kashi bars and sliced veggies in your backpack for snacks; have lots of yogurts and some granola for breakfasts on the go). The more you control your eating the better, because you can satisfy your hunger and still know that you're on track.

As a teen, you probably drink a lot of soda or juices. Sodas have waay too much sugar, and even diet ones aren't the best choice. Stick to 100% fruit juices, and dilute them, if possible. Stick to water, flavored with a little lemon if needed, or drink some green tea if you need some caffeine. Avoid Starbucks altogether, or if you can't, get the smallest size and go lowfat.

And even though you're trying to eat healthy, don't avoid "fun" foods altogether. Limit pizzas to 1-2 slices, avoid the sodas, and get a smaller scoop of ice cream.

You are not overweight at all but if you want to tone up your body here are some few tips. The best thing you can do for your body is walking. That is an overall work out. Also swimming, biking, any cardio is great. Good luck and don't let your weight bother you at such a young age

You need to run about 2 miles per day and do a lot of situps and push ups. You should try making a schedule for exersicing. Try some yoga too. Go to the gym.

I'm trying to lose weight too and what works for me is to eat healthier. NO fast food ever, basically stick to just fruits and vegetables and also other healthy options that aren't high in fat or calories. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day too, doing both cardio and strengh workouts is a good way to build endurance and tone up. Once in awhile treat yourself though, take an extra day off from working out or having something you crave to keep you from going insane. Your weight sounds fine to me though, it's important to eat healthy and exercise but don't over do it just to be skinny. Since your so young and developing your shouldn't deprive yourself because it can mess up you development in the long run.
