Question: also... I'm recovering from an eating disorder and the meal plans i've seen seem so... inflexible. I know normal people adjust their eating patterns depending on hunger, but I can't register hunger. I either starve or feel the need to just keep eating.

Sounds like you have one eyebrow... this is a case where genetics over-trumps upbringing and you must re-parent yourself... this will take a year or two, but you need to do it, and there are many good books on the market you can check out from the local library! Good Luck!
