A healthy calorie intake for a 13 yr old?!


Question: im 13, and seriously overweight, 172lbs and am only 5'1".whats a healthy calorie intake?dont mention excercise because im doing that daily anyway.

Well, if you exercise 30 minutes a day, you need 2000 calories a day. (MAXINUM) Mininum is 1300. However, also try avoiding transfats. Those are the nasty fats that stick in your body and are really hard getting out.

You should really ask your doctor because I'm about the same size as you and my calorie intake is 1400.

Seriously! Lay off anything white! Sugar, flour, potatoes, bread, corn! Anything lighter than GREEN, do not eat!

At your young age and weight you are a candidate for "SERIOUS" health problems!
Diabetes first comes to mind!
