You have to burn more calories then you take in. start doing cardio 4-6 days a week for at least 30 min and keep up the pilates. more if you can and start counting calories 1200-1300 cal a day

go to the gym everyday and work on a diet

1,200 calories a day and 40 minutes of cardio on a tredmill or and arobic work out video!!

well if you want to lose 20lbs of ugly fat quickly lope off your head

How tall are you btw? if you could put that in the question i will check back later.

To get toned up you need to workout.
running would be good, also sit ups and push ups would be good

1,200 calories a day! drink lots of water or crystal light which is very good, eat tons of veggies! i like thoe frozen bags of stir fry with the carrots broccoli and mushrooms..so good.. no butter steam it in water..dont use any salts use sea salt a good replacement. um workout like a mad woman! i think a fun way to get started is to just dance around to your favorite music..i hate working out! i weight 107 im 22 years old. but i gogo dance instead of working out so its a fun way to shed those pounds and stay in shape. good luck!

Pilates is good, but is not intense enough. Add 30-45 minutes of cardio exercise at least 5 days per week and weight train 3 days per week -- or weight train 6 days per week, alternating:

Upper body - Day 1
Lower body - Day 2
Upper body - Day 3
Lower body - Day 4, etc.

Get a body sculpting DVD and some inexpensive dumbells and you can easily do the body sculpting at home.

"The Firm" program has some great sculpting DVDs at www.collagevideo.com, but Jari Love also has some good ones. There are also other trainers that have great ones. Good luck!

Cardio will burn fat, strength training will build muscle (pilates is great for a long, lean look) and help to burn fat as well.

Your diet should contain plenty of fiber and protein, so make sure your meals include both in order to fill you up on less calories. (sources of fiber- fruits, veggies, whole grains. sources of protein- lean cuts of meat, skim milk, egg whites, light yogurt and cheese, almonds, etc).

You can avoid intense cravings (at least a little) by eating a little bit every few hours. This will prevent you from becoming so hungry that you binge on unhealthy foods.
Finally, drink plenty of water! People often mistake hunger for thirst, so if you aren't sure, drink a glass of water before hitting the fridge.

Good luck.

There never really is a fast way of losing weight. Losing weight takes time and does not come with a snap of your fingers. Depending on your height, weight, gender and genetics, these all could play a factor into how long it will take to lose the weight. I would suggest going to the gym 4 days a week (45 -60 min) and eating 6 healthy meals (2000 calories) a day. Make sure you stay away from high sodium and high saturataed fatty foods. Replace those burgers with a nice peice of chicken or salmon and those fries with some good whole wheat rice or vegetables. Make sure you have an adequete amount of water intake because this is what is going to be the biggest key in losing weight. Water speeds up metabolism and helps in rebuilding muscular tissue after workouts.Eating a gram of protien per pound of body weight is another huge key in losing the weight and building muscle in replace of that fat. Protien is a key source in your weight loss program, so invest in some hardy chicken breasts at the grocery store and eat one of those a day. Keep focused and make sure you get someone to encourage your weight loss along the way. In a couple of months you will start to see the results and will feel great. Good Luck.
