How do you get over a food addiction? Inspiration?!


Question: My friend and I both have food addictions: even if we're full and can't eat any more, we still want to eat because it tastes so good and you know, everyone loves to eat. Do you know of any medication or inspirations that could help us get over our addictions? Is there a certain food group to eat that helps you so you won't feel the need to eat? I'm not really obeise, just a tiny overweight, like I'm 13, 5'3, and 125-127 pounds. I just want to be thinner, but its so hard! So what can be an inspiration to get over our addiction? Thanx!

Evidently you get a good sensation from the eating. You need to find other things that will make you feel good to substitute for the eating. Exercising can give you a natural kind of high and make you feel good. Also, whenever you reward yourself for something, make sure it isn't with food. Someone in Weight Watchers told me that they say you enjoy the first and last bite of something the most. So a small portion of the things that you like (especially desserts!) ...you'd only need just a couple of bites. You and your friend could try splitting things when you eat out together. Restaurants always seem to over do it serving wise, and splitting will keep your portions down, and your expense too.

I know, my problem.

This is wht I've been doing. Just to help for the healthy, eat more healthy and your taste buds will like healthy more than junk food.

Or if there is food near you, try to move it away so you can't get it. Also try to have fun so you will forget on food.

I still am trying to get thin, I'm not that big, really I'm not but I want to be skinner.
