Can i do this..?!


Question: i've gained 10 pounds yuuuckkk and i want to get back down to 115 real quick.. can i do this in a month, if i eat around 500 calories a day and run for a half hour. plus cheer practices 3 times a week.

i know it isn't healthy to only eat 500 calories a day but i gotta lose this weight quick.. and i won't gain it all back later becuase with cheerleading conditioning practices coming up in a few weeks it will be impossible to lose weight!! ha. so if i do this for a few weeks or so.. can i lose up to 10 pounds quiiiiick?

nooo, don't do it. Just start exercising. Seriously, just eat healthy because I don't know how old you are...this would help. But, if you're still growing, it's natural to gain weight. Your weight doesn't tell you whether you need to gain weight or not. Eatting healthy and exercising will help keep you healthy. Again, don't count calories, just try eatting well and exercising.

never eat below 1200, you'll screw up your metabolism.
you will end up gaining weight, because you'll be putting your body into starvation mode.
you will lose not only fat, but muscle mass and essential tissue. so when you gain the weight back, you will only gain the fat back, so you will be more flabby than where you left off.
and once you screw up your metabolism, it can take years to bring it back.
