Muscles in fingers?!

Question: WHy is it that u can straighten the thumb, pointy finger, middle finger and little finger easily but nt the ring finger??? U can straighten one of them easily with the others curled in... but not the ring finger. It's always kind of diagonal and even if u make an effort to really straighten it up.. My science teacher (also the best science teacher in my school) doesn't know so I'm asking the people here.

The ring finger has the least amount of muscle mass making it the weakest of the fingers, that's why you can't easily straighten it without straightening your pinky and middle finger also.

see if you can find the muscle structures of the hand in an anatomy book, finger muscles actually go up the forearms quite a bit.

It all hass to do with tendons, that finger stays kind of limp most of the time , right. so the tendon never full stretches unless it manually made> just like finger splints do for u the keep the tendon from shrinking from being broke. "experament ; wear a flatt plint on ur finger for a month ,,,, feel the differance.. ps im a x boxer i know finger things lol!!!!!!!
