Was there overweight people in concentration camps? at the end of the 2nd ww?!

Question: im watching half ton woman and she says she doesnt eat too much

Answers: im watching half ton woman and she says she doesnt eat too much

No there were not .

Today fat people say
"it's how I am"
or
"it's a medical problem"
or
"I eat tooo much because I'm a PIG"

SORRY they never say the 3rd one...

They are fat because they choose to be that way....

NO EXCUSES...

A few weeks ago our local TV station showed some photos of the beach at Westo Super Mare in 1975 and some photos of the same beach in 2005 ( 30 years later, for all you bad at maths )

In the ones from 1975 you had to look real hard to see anyone over weight nearly everyone looked nice and slim...

In the photos from 2005 nearly everyone was over weight of FAT.

It just showes what a load of **** we eat and how lazzzzy we have become.

What do the two things have to do with one another??

Probably only the camp commandant.

I know a HUGE woman who claims to barely eat enough to feed a sparrow. In reality she is never away from the cake shop.

exactly they say its medical now didnt they have medical conditions then?? we all know its pies burgers and chips

Yes there was...they were all well fed and looked after and given fresh clothes and food daily.......?????:S
Look at your question dear before calling others twirpy...ask a silly question get a silly answer!!!!:)

I know :/ i saw that the other night, couldnt believe the amount of s**t she kept coming out with "I dont eat much at all. Its a myth that overwight people eat too much".... Then 5 minutes later her own daughter is telling us how she never stops eating!

Had no sympathy for that woman in the slightest, she just made me feel angry for her daughters, its disgusting that she had so little self control, and left it so late before she did anything about it, theres no excuse for people like that

Well they were fed minimal amount of food so I very much doubt it. Ony those who just arrived might have been overweight.

By the way a lot of obese people say they don't eat that much. In reality they do, or otherwise they wouldn't be that big in the first place (unless of course there was a medical condition causing them to be overweight). The woman is most likely in denial. If she kept a food diary she'd probably realise she does in fact eat a lot more than she realises.

probaly well fed people just entering the camps. and camp overseers who could eat well and not excerise.

where the link between the two?

This is a contradiction, concentration camps were renowned for poor health due to the lack of food.

I suggest you watch some of the footage of prisoners being released from Auschwitz at the end of the war and you would not treat the matter so flippantly. All of the prisoners were like skeletons.

It's funny you should ask that question for two reasons, the first I was discussing it only yesterday with my fiance Caz, the second is that I was discussing it because of something my mother told me when I was 18, (I'm now 65).

I don't know how the subject of overweight (I'd never heard of the term obesity then) came up, but at the time I was doing my 'A' levels in Chemistry, Physics and Zoology and thought I was extremely clever.

I started expounding my theories and knowledge about metabolic rates, calories and genetic disposition, and my very dear un-educated mother turned to me and said "There were no fat people in Belsen."

That taught me two salutory lessons, first, not to be so damn clever, and second, you are what you eat.

I've just read all the other answers, there was only one when I started with my answer, it's obvious that at least three at the moment don't even understand your question.

Sorry, it's just gone up to four.
