Does anyone have a diet that i can eat i'm 14?!


Question: i'm 14 and i'm fat i'm 5'6 and 165 pounds but i really want to lose weight my diet is poor i excercise a fair bit. does anyone have a helathy diet off jenny craig or something.

Weight Watchers is awesome, do some research and figure out how many points you would get a day. But you should ask your parents if you can do it first.

Become vegetarian, it helps you lose weight and a ton of other stuff. Good luck

eat fruit. realize what a useful tool fruit is. Fruit fills you up with good stuff. maximize your fiber intake (on nutrition labels) and minimize saturated fats (also on nutrition labels). then excercise! make sure you get lots of sleep, eat chicken too. lean meats are good and i dont mean Chick-fil-a I mean real chicken breast. I love the Kashi Honey Almond Flax cereal. it's got like 9g fiber and 8g protein or something like that. Then cut up a banana or strawberries, or sprinkle in raspberries or blueberries. whatever you like and you can also put in a little bit of a few diff ones. This can be eaten for ANY meal. serving: 1 cup of cereal. or a plastic snack bag full. then add your fruit.

trust me fruit is a doll. i start to feel really good with it. it makes you feel much more confident then say... candy, or ice cream. dont get me wrong, im a chocaholic and its good every now and then. you can still have these things but LIMIT them. if you slack off eating fruit after eating it consistently i PROMISE you that you'll feel the difference and you wont liek it.

don't crash diet like jenny craig and stuff. what you want is a lifestyle not a diet. Lifestyles are something you continue for life and somehting that will make you feel good about you. be careful with what you do and don't over do it. don't listen to the jerk kids at school either. when they see you eating healthy stuff they might mention it -especially because ur a guy.they'r just jealous becuz they feel liek crap eating their mickey-d's.

before i forget. on eating healthy at restaurants- look for things with veggies and lean meats: chicken,etc. and fish as well (if you like them). many menus also show their "healty choices" pick them! if you're not hungry dont finish. it's simple. many people overeat at restaurants becuz they feel obligated. good options for a few of my fav restaurants:
Olive Garden : minestrone soup, and kids menu GRILLED chicken comes with a side of spaghetti and brocolli its to die for and great portions
Outback: grilled chicken on the barbi with a side of carrots
Carrabas: minestrone soup and kids spaghetti with meatball

I don't care how old you are most restaurants will let you order off the kids menu. I dont want big portions so I order off the kids menu. dont ask just order like you do it every day.

DONT EAT WHEN YOU'RE NOT HUNGRY!

remember if you have muscle it will weigh you down. dont look at scales look at the mirror. mirrors don't lie. once you start excercising regularly and doing weight training you'll gain a bit (muscle ) then start losing the fat. by the way, please weight train (dont over do it, be careful ) my dad used to own a gym and i find myself disgusted with guys that dont work out. take note of this! skinny guys make me sick - i work out y shouldnt u?
