How to tone up your face?!

Question: I was looking at a picture of me from six months ago, and I noticed how much more defined my face was compared to pictures now. All around the border of my face and chin was shapely and defined, and in all the pictures I've taken recently it is much more rounded. I don't think that I exercise any less then I was over the summer, but I know that I have gained some weight so I think that's what has happened to my face. I'm not fat or anything, I'm 5"3 and I weigh 110 pounds. But over the summer I did have a flatter stomach and my face looked better. I know that you can't target any specific area when working out, but I was wondering if there were any exercises I could do to help tone my face? I read somewhere that massaging your face helps, is this true? Any other exercises, and could you describe them? I can't chew gum though because I have TMJ. Then along with any face exercises, should I just walk/run on my treadmill to lose extra weight all over? Thanks!

Losing weight in general will help with the extra roundness on your face as in general your face is the first thing you notice when losing or gaining weight. Funnily enough i just posted an article on facial exercises http://myfitmate.blogspot.com/2008/01/fa... on my blog have aread some good exercises there for you to try.

good luck

I would suggest just doing the walking/running as I don't really know any way to target your face for fat loss.

Good luck, cheers!

I have found that my face fluctuates with water weight. Perhaps this is the case? The easiest way to get rid of that is to drink more water.
Hope that helped.

yes massaging your face does work it is a natural face lift also try firming lotions, there are a few exercise u can do, when laying down look up and blow kisses this helps under then chin and jaw line. plus act like your biting something make sure to clench your jaw this also helps with tmj but it may hurt at first
