I need motivation to excersize?!


Question: i have pushed off excersizing for too long and my body has everything to show for it. i have 3 months to lose fat. i dont want to lose x number of pounds but rather, i want to get into shape. i want to lose fat and gain muscle. how do i motivate myself to do this?

3 months to loose fat is enough time

first of the best way to loose fat is to run

jump roping is also great

i would suggest you start your workouts by 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercises

this helps your body warm up and loosen up your muscles

create a routine for your workout
like on mondays and wednesdays you work out on upper body
and tuesday and thursday its lower body

and friday is upper explosive lift and saturday is lower explosive lift or something

i would skip the eplosive lifts for now

upper body includes biceps, triceps, pecks, abs

i workout without a gym
i only have 2 45lb dumbbells too

for upper body i suggest you get 2 dmbbells as well from wallmart or something

then you can do curls, preacher curls, and use them to add weight on the crunches

do 200 crunches before going to sleep

eat your last meal 3 1/2 hours before bed and drink water instead of soda
the more water you drink it will be alot easier to loose weight

upper body training without weight
2 sets of 25 pushups and increase every week

if you cannot do pushups then do negative pushups
go down as slowly as you can and cheat yourself up

benchdips are great for triceps

do 3 sets of 20 in the beginning and increase the reps as you get stronger every week

pushups and benchdips help the triceps and pecks
dumbbell curls help the biceps

use the dumbbells to help triceps by taking one dumbbell and putting it to the back of your head and rasing it up to the top of your head



lower body
if you want t loose weight i suggest you just run or jump rope for 20 minutes and increase timeby the week

to build muscle i suggest to do sqauts

if you do not have weights it dos not matter

do high repetition


i suggest you rest 1-2 days evry week

i also suggest you loosing fat before building muscle

Well I read this book & pretty much, you gotta think just like an athlete. When you get around bad stuff remember "you're training" A boxer has to mindful of what they do, it all revolves around how they train. So keep that mind set. Above all positive. It may sound silly but talk to your self cuz your words are powerful. But think of yourself as an athlete who is trainin for the Olympics or somethin.

My TKD instructor gets motivated by thinking about how awesome his muscles will look afterwards. I've tried it--it SERIOUSLY works!
