One quick question, I honestly am confused?!

Question: I've been working out for i'd say a month now. If not a little more. My problem is just simply this I was always told that you build yourself up to doing more reps. So I lift weights not much I'm not sure exactly maybe 20 25 pounds no more than 30. I do pull downs and i use the weight to push foward whatever that ones called. Just stuff like that helping lose weight on my arms cause i got just enough fat to drive me crazy. I started out doing 50 of each of the arm workouts and 50 sit-ups and each week I was going to raise my number. Except each time I work out it gets worse and I feel like I cant even do what I started out doing., I was fine the first few times, and now it takes everything I have to finish. I don't know if i'm doing something wrong or what? but I dont see how or what it could be any ideas, anything at all would be helpful..........it'd be better than what I know which is nothing.

it sounda like your exhausting your muscles, and yourself..not too mention the burn out factor..slow down, create a routine, like 3 days a week for like 25 minutes or somethingt and dont necessarily have to have a set number of reps to do..its good to push yourself a bit, but dont overdo it cuz youll only hurt yourself, or burn out and give up all together

to build muscle, up the weights to make it more effective. a person can have huge arms just by using soup cans but the muscles can't do very much. You need to keep pushing yourself with the weights and go higher if you can.

well mayb u should also eat healthy
walk sumtimes or wen ever ur gonna work out try warming up first
mayb dat will help

goodluck =]

When you do strenuous exercise (enough to feel a burning sensation afterwards), your muscles actually rip (hence the burning sensation). That is why fitness experts advise that you give your body time to repair itself after a strenuous workout. It may help if you let one full day go by without lifting heavy weights, but opt to do something less strenuous like walking, jogging, or pilates. Then when you start lifting weights again your muscles will be ready to go. Once your body has adjusted to the new routine, you may be able to lift weights everyday without a problem. Good luck with everything!

start a routine of pushups that work for me.
