dont do the front raises anymore.. front raises primarily work the front head of the deltoid complex. shoulder presses also target the front head of the deltoids, along with bench press and incline press. i stopped doing front raises last year due to problems in my left shoulder and it has not hampered my gains at all. my shoulder workout now consists of 4 sets military press, 4 sets dumbell shoulder press, 4 sets upright rows, 3 sets lateral raises and 3 sets bent over rear raises. if you insist on doing front raises, try different hand positions. do them palms up, or palms facing each other, or try using a bar instead of dumbells. maybe one of these positions will help alleviate the stress.

The above is correct. There may be a small bone spur hitting a tendon. You don't want to blow it out, unless you enjoy screaming and losing use of the arm while it heals.

You may have some inflammation going on. Give your shoulders a break ice and anti-inflammatory may need a week or more. Then try and do some shoulder exercises again. First without weights and then start with a minimal amount so you don't reirritate the area. This is more commonly called tendonitis. It can be uncomfortable and can make your tendon feel like it is moving strange or sqeak since it is moving through a smaller area do to inflammation. You really don't need to do front dumbell raises that often anyways. They get plenty of activity in daily activities. Doing multi muscle exercises and focusing more on the lateral and posterior deltoids (along with other back exercises) will help you roll your shoulders back and stand up straight. Make your chest stand out! Which seems so many guys want! ;)
