Does cardio take long?!


Question: Hello, I'm 13 years old and a little bit over weight and i need some info. Does cardio take long? I'm recently jumping rope for 20 minutes a day and i do 100 crunches a day. When i jump rope i keep stopping becuase i mess up. So i was wondering how long does cardio take? I was to lower my body fat % to less than 10 so i can work on my my 6-packs. Thxs for answering =]

I agree with the previous poster about 30-60 minutes of cardio. Just remember, practice makes perfect. The more you do that exercise the better you will get at it. The better you get at it, the more results you will see. As well, the better you get at an exercise, you will need to either increase the level of difficulty or switch up and add something new. Good luck, glad to hear you've chosen to do something now while you're young. The older you get the more stubborn your body is at losing weight/fat. Keep up the good work!!!

Most trainers will tell you it is recommended that you do at least 30 to 60 minutes of cardio per day, most days of the week.
