I've never worked out for more than a week in my life. Any routines or sugge!

Question: I'm 23 years old, and I'm lucky that I haven't surpassed the 200 lb mark due to the fact that I haven't worked out consistently in my life. I've tried before, and I find myself just getting depressed and being OK with my health getting worse. I don't want to end up like 90% of my fellow Mississippians. If there's any tips or suggestions on how I can get my life together without wanting to give up, please help me...I need motivation or something to help me get going.

tyvo or tybo or sumthing like that....

If you're rich... Personal trainer, if you're not, get a consistent gym buddy, can help each other out a lot

Lets sit down, eat twinkies and disguse together sometime.

do it with a friend. also, figure out what does motivate you, such as money. pay yourself a certain amount for every workout you complete. if you want to take a trip or buy a dog or whatever think of the money you're paying yourself as saving up for it.

Get into the martial arts. It's more interesting and a more useful way to spend your time than boring workouts.

Never worked out...Keep up the good work. Exercise is over rated.

New Years resolution is to get more exercise... I have to do 3 push-ups this year.

get a routine from a specialist, including diet. and just stick to it.
after the first month it wont be difficult to keep doing it

Dance for an hour everyday to your favorite song. Doing it everyday for just one hour burns 500 calories an hour/day, 3500 a week, and 14000 a month. Eat right and keep listening to music while you run or excersice different, it makes it fun and it toally motivates 77% of people (a study I worked on)

Hmm, pushups, situps, pullups, lie down and hold your feet 6 inches off the floor for as long as u can. Thats very simple.

try to find somebody else to workout with. and set a goal, any goal. that will keep you motivated..maybe you want to look good for the ladies..but whatever it is hopefully itll help you stay on whatever workout you may choose.

mini trampoline for $40 works great easy to store easy on joints

Start by doing little something everyday. Just start by walking 20 minutes a day. Then you can add in a small something in your hand while you are walking to firm your arms. Oh yeah if you keep a journal of what you eat, that helps alot bc it makes you conscious of what you are eating. I used to live in MS so I know all about it...we like to eat...LOL. Also they have they get fit with MS program going on and you can get the pedometer for free...If I think of the site then I will post it on here for you...good luck!!!

Running or biking is the best because there's alot of scenery.

If you've got comcast on demand, they've got great quick fitness workouts on the sports and fitness section.

go to Itrain.com-
http://www.itrain.com/index1.php
there are workout routine things that you can download to your Ipod. Mabey this will help? Music is always inspiring and these are chosen specifically to help your different needs and goals.

also always eat breakfast, it jumpstarts your metabolism.

set up a reward system for every ten pounds you lose to keep yourself motibated- ex: first ten pounds you lose, treat yourself to a new movie, book, etc. and mabey when you reach your goal weight, you can treat yourself to a whole new wardrobe.

good luck, be happy :]

Keep it simple and not complex at the beginning. Try walking for at least 20 minutes a day. In addition; every other day with the walking, try working on different parts of your body: such as Monday: Legs; Wednesday: Shoulders; Friday: Chest; Sunday: Back. After a while you'll improve and progress at your own speed and complexity.

Any cardio you do, just remember to go at a really easy pace for you. Don't push or sweat yourself. If you do it long enough, you'll find your heart able to run longer and at a faster pace, not to mention you will enjoy working out a lot, and may even start to crave working out on a daily basis like I did. It releases endorphins, that will make you more emotionally stable, generally happier, and brighter.
