I am ten and need to lose 34 pounds because every one is making fun of me please!

I was a chubby kid and i joined kung fu and i thinned out without ever changing a thing in my diet!

I remember really chubby little boys and girls around age 10 and when they hit their growth spirt they became bean poles!

If you can stand it eat eggs and spinach for breakfast as in scrambled eggs or an omlett. use spray on the pan instead of butter. Don't drink any soda ...Water...no margrine either salad for lunch with a little ham or turkey ...no bread...dinner salad and soup ... watch salt and drink alot of water.....walk around the block in the after noon everyday. It works ...been there

I'm sorry people are making fun of you. People can be cruel sometimes. Just remember to love yourself, no matter what you look like. When people make fun of other people it is because they don't feel good about themselves. I have found that the easiest way to lose weight is to eat healthy and to exercise. My 10 yr. old son had to lose about the same amount of weight and this is what we had to do.Try cutting out all the bad stuff like candy, chips, sweets, soda, and juice. Most juices contain a lot of sugar. If you feel you do need to have juice, make sure you have only the 6-8oz. serving size. It's best to drink water though.(Those flavored waters are fine to drink.) Do make sure you drink your milk, but drink low fat or no fat milk. (low fat chocoloate is fine too) Homemade smoothies are a great snack too, but limit to only one a day.
You need other dairy as well, so try low fat or no fat yogurts and cheeses. ( Funny Cow or Laughing Cow? is good)
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
Have your veggies with some fat free or low calorie dressing.
Make sure you have your breakfast everyday. You can have eggs, omelettes, cereals, oatmeals, have something like this with some fresh fruit,( just remember to look at the serving size on the side of the box, filling your cereal bowl leads to overeating) whole wheat or whole grain lite toast, with a teaspoon of margarine and sugar free jelly. For lunch have a small sandwich, and try to use mustard instead of mayonnaise. If you do like mayonnaise, try the lite kind and only use the serving size. Have some fruit or veggies with some yogurt dip, granola bar. Don't have chips, instead have fat free pretzels or lite popcorn.( Pirate Booty Is a good kind, they also have great pita chips, If you like Hummus, try it with the pita chips, it's a great snack) If you are getting lunch from school, try to get the healthier dishes like salads and fruits. Avoid the chicken nuggets, mac-n-cheese and foods that are fried. Most schools have an alternative hot lunch like a sandwich, try that instead. Pizza on Friday's (or whatever day your school serves it) is fine. Just make sure you have 1 slice and have a salad or fruit with it. For an afternoon snack try a smoothie or some fat free or sugar free pudding or jello, popcorn, pretzels, cheese and veggies. For dinner eat 4 ounces of meat ( it's about the size of a deck of cards) with a serving of vegetables, baked potato (fat free sour cream, if you like)OR rice (1/2 serving size) or just a salad.( watch you dressing, measure the tbls.) Avoid all cheesy pastas and rices Also avoid eating too much butters and breads. And for dessert. Be creative, baked cinnamon apple with oatmeal if you like apple crisp. Chocolate pudding with sliced banana with cool whip. My favorite is frozen sugarfree chocolate bananas rolled in a few walnuts topped with fat free whip cream.Tastes just like a banana split!. There are also a lot of frozen weight watchers desserts and ice creams that are delicious. As long as you can limit them.
You should talk to your Mom or Dad or guardian and let them know that you are trying to eat healthy. They can help you decide what's best for you. They can help you to read food labels to know what exactly a serving size should be.They can help you prepare your meals and help you exercise. If you feel like having something sweet, go ahead, don't feel like you *blew it* everything is OK in moderation(once in awhile) The best thing is to be aware of what you're eating and how much you're eating. And Excercise!
All you have to do is move. for atleast 30-45 minutes a day. it can be any form of movement, as long as you are keeping your heart rate up. (jumping rope, riding your bike, walking, playing a sport.)
