WAY too much belly fat?!


Question: During the past year, I have acquired a lot of belly fat....I mean seriously, I have more rolls than Panera Bread.

I'm not fat anywhere else on my body....just my stomach!

I just turned 41 years old, so I suppose that has something to do with it.

My question is, what can I do to get rid of it? Are there any diets or exercises or dietary supplement that you recommend?

Cardio will burn fat. Fat burning will happen from what ever body part ur body decides, and it eventually happens all over.
In other words you can't spot reduce. The best type of fat burning cardio is running because with every step you take you carry all your body weight.

I recommend weights full body to build muslce which will burn fat 24/7. You can do some sit ups to tighten your stomach muscles but at the end of the day you can have a tight stomach with lots of fat covering it, so the cardio is important.

Dr. Barry Sears book and diet program "The Zone" It took me from 150 to 107 just over the summer and most of that was pure fat not water. Oh and the best part of his diet is that you dont lose muscle.

The belly fat is also known as visceral fat. It is bad fat that is inbetween your organs...that is what causes our wonderful muffin tops!! LOL..anywho..one diet that I know works well and is fairly cheap is called the ABS DIET. (Just type in absdiet.com and it will take you there.) It focuses on that particular fat...also it schools you in EVERYTHING you would want to know about being healthy. Of course though, check with a doctor before starting any kind of diet. The only way to get rid of fat is cardio. When you have excess fat around your middle, it is very bad for your heart. I recommend a daily power walk or some other form of cardio as well as a low fat diet. You will look and feel much better. Good luck!

DIET! Do yoga or palates to burn your fat and become more flexible! go to the gym, eat fruits and vegitables, work those abs! after u lost a lot of weight, u might have some flabby skin. u can get that off with some sergary!

See your doctor. At our age, belly fat is caused by cortisol, a chemical that our bodies produce due to stress. Your doctor can assess your stress level and your general health, and help ypu reduce stress. If you do that, and follow a healthy eating plan, your belly fat will leave on its own.
