Is it always bad form to weight train 2 or 3 days in a row?!

Question: If I go to the gym several days a week, I still like to use the weights. Will that have any detrimental effects? I just use lighter weights anyway.

Only if you are repeated working the same muscles groups.... some people bench everyday which doesn't allow the muscles time to heal. Rotate muscle groups and you should be fine.

It is true that using weights wears out the cartilage, but it also makes you stronger. That's why you need to talk to your doctor or do extensive research before you start a regular program.

Captain Hook would say "good form" as long as you kidnap a child before or after

No, it isn't bad, but you need to alternate the parts of your body you are working. One day do legs, and abs, the next day chest and arms etc.

its better to give your body a break in between because when you work out, you put little rips in your muscles and then they grow back stronger. When you work out constantly everyday you don't give your muscles the chance to heal and its not good for you. If you still want to exercise everyday, then switch what you do. Example...one day you work on your arms.... the next day you do your legs and abs something like that

they say you should do it every second day so your muscles have time rest in between.so you don't get hurt.

Good weight training can be done days in a row. Your muscles should have a day or two to recuperate. The trick being to work only certain muscle groups in those two to three days. Like legs and abs one day. Back and shoulders another, then maybe arms another. There are quite a few routines available depending on what you are wanting to accomplish. Have fun.

Yes, it's bad. Your muscles need a chance to relax. Don't do the same body part 2 days in a row. You're going to hurt yourself (seriously) then you won't be able to train at all.
