Why dont they ever....?!

Question: ...advertise weight gaining products? Isnt there a market for such? I'm sure there are a few people who would like to add on a few and maintain. I praised the Lord for my baby fat and 4 months later I'm back to catwalk skeleton (no offense to models) but I loved the baby fat and I've been on the net for some time searching, most just give you something for appetite. Is there some rule that does not allow anyone o advertise weight gaining products?

Eat what you want in high calories content and fried foods. Sweets will help also. Any fast foods restaurants except Subway.

I hear there was a program called weight gainers.

I read Muscle & Fitness (HER's) and there are adds all over the bodybuilding world for "gainers".

No rule against advertising for it. You can go to any local health food store like GNC (depending on your state) and find them all over the place, including MORE adds.

You just don;t find many ad's for them on TV, radio or anything else because there is such a small ration of people who need/want them and most of them are in the fitness/bodybuilding world.

You're lucky, most of America is struggling to get skinny. Good for you for wanting to be healthy looking and not sticky skinny!

like someone said before there is a program called weight gainers. and if you take a look there are advertisements for weight gaining , and vitamins for gaining weight but the ads you usually see are the ones advertising for children and infants.
You rarely see weight gaining products on television for adults because they are unhealthy, if you are going to gain weight, it should be done the same way as a weight loss program. eating healthy foods and going to the gym to gain muscle.
I think it is illegal to advertise pills and programs that will potentially cause you to get diabetes or cholesterol.
I know what your counter argument will be: what about McDonlalds, well fast food chains advertise fatty foods but they also have salad options availble in their menus and their products are all about self control.

Hehe - You are right Inno, I have also wondered why they never advertise such products.
I guess the stuff that one can use are those energy shakes, etc that they sell in those big - *** bottles in powder form that the body builders use...
