My legs hurt after cardio training should I do it again?!


Question: After 20 minutes of jump-rope for a cardio workout my legs hurt and should i do cardio again the next day? My legs are sore they can still work but it hurts to run and walk but not to jump-rope. Please help thxxs =]

YES!!! Working out will help to keep you loose and work out the pain. Just do not work out if you have JOINT pain, this is something to be concerned about, and let it rest and heal, if not getting better see a doctor.

Drink plenty of water and a hot bath with Epsom salt soaks feels GREAT!! Ibuprofen should be a good pain/inflammation reducer. Muscle pain however just confirms you got a great workout!

Well your body just wasn't used to use to it give your legs a day to rest then pick up again.

Wait a day. The muscles have to heal.

Maybe your over doing it. If you haven't exercised in a while you need to start slower.
Sometimes you may need some minerals in your diet. Do you get leg cramps ? Then you need Calcium & magnesium.
