Hiya!

I feel all your going through! I've been there recently, lost the two stone and on the other side. I had babyweight to lose.

The feeling of hunger at first won't go away, its especially worse when you see advertisements selling some delicious food! Eventually it will become less - trust me! I too got headaches and body weakness.

I lost the weight by counting all my calories every day. I was eating between 1600-2000 a day, sometimes more if the fresh cream cakes called! (If you know what I mean!). I reduced my calorie intake down to 1500 and the weight came off. Its hard at first, but have a good long look around the supermarkets for how many calories everything has, you'll find that your appetitie will shrink. The best thing is it doesn't matter what you eat, as long as it fits within your calories.
So if a cream cake calls you mid morning, then your lunch/dinner will need to be very low calorie (ie: a salad). Next time you go shopping you'll have an idea what to get. Be strict - there's a goal you want to achieve!

My exercise came in the form of walking 1 mile each day, 45 mins of a fitness video every other day, and two 15 min blocks of floor exercises in my living room. I am a busy mum of two young children and had to fit it in when I could! It took me 8 months of dedication to lose the two stone.

Buy celery, carrots & cucumbers as good snack and hunger fillers. Look at low calorie crackers - no butter/marg.

If you want it bad enough you find the power! Be positive, see yourself being successful! Depression will not help you lose the weight, in fact it may deter you! The areas you want to lose weight will never happen first, but if you carry on strictly, it will!!!
Becareful of some fruits as they can be high in sugar.

This will help you with the calories:

Its wise to check the packaging first as some brands are higher than others

Best of luck! Email me and let me know how you get on, or if you have a question, online weight buddy to push you along!

Try joining your local Slimming World

I used to be terrible on a diet cause i missed my food and was always hungry

On slimming world i can eat all day if i wanted (I don't)

Give it a go

ok well you need to do different excercises for different parts of your body which is ptob y you c more coming off one part but as for stopping yourself thinking of food, i would suggest taking up a hobby to keep you busy, if you are busy with something that doesnt involve food then that should help, also try getting some healthy snack bars or something to nibble on through the day - i cut up carrott & cucmber sticks every morning then put them in the fridge & i help myself everytime i feel like picking!!

Eat as much as you want, just dont swallow.

Hi well the first thing i notice about you is that you really want to lose weight. That is the biggest hurdle. Try eating lots of vegetables and small portions of rice or pasta or potatoes. About 2 oz dried weight. You must have some nourishment to enable you body to give you energy and then burn off some calories. I have tried many pills, patches and even going to the gym but then i was totally tired after and just as hungrey after swimming so i know what it feels like. What can i say, i am very happily doing the tesco diet at the moment and am losing weight and eating more now than what i did before. I have many choices and can select or deselect things. Take a look its not for everyone i know, but you need energy for your body and eating just salads is not enough. Well done though keep going and you will succeed.

Eating is, probably, not the problem. WHAT you eat is.

For commercial reasons, the stuff that really is bad isn't exactly the stuff that is heavily publicised and promoted as being bad. Fat, for example, doesn't make you fat. Cheese is fat, but it doesn't make you fat. Not on it's own. A cheese sandwich, however, is a dietary disaster. Bread is fattening. Chips, fries, burger buns, pizza base, pie crust, rice, potatoes, crisps, pasta, cereal (yes, cereal) cake, doughnuts and tortillas are fattening. All of these things are made from exactly the same basic 'foodstuff' as pure sugar and THAT is what's fattening. Eat as much meat, fish, colourful veg, cheese, eggs, nuts and full cream milk as you like, cutting down the sugar as much as you can, and your body will, naturally, 'dump' the excess instead of layering it on your body as fat.

GI diet is healthy, will give you the energy you need for the exercise you do and keeps you slim because it's all good food that keeps you feeeling full, plus there are loads of options for snacking.

After a couple of weeks you lose the cravings and don't think about food so much

each time u feel like eating, eat fruits
