lie on your back & lift your legs up, bent with your knees over your hips. slowly extend one leg out almost to the floor, but not touching it, then bring it back in & do the same withth next leg. put your hands on your lower stomach & you can actually feel this working your abs. you can also do this with a crunch and the leg extension as you grow stronger.

jogging and crunches and sit ups

do reverse situps to get that lower section, lift wieghts, and do cardio.
Hope this helpedxxx

During pregnancy, the way you stand changes.

Afterwards, it's very difficult to get back into the habit of standing the way that you used to do.

A 'baby belly' is difficult to shift (even with masses of abdominal work) because your new posture prevents the muscles in the lower half of your belly from operating. When you do any abdominal work, the movement is powered by the upper part of these muscles, instead of being shared between the upper and lower parts.

A Pilates class (especially if you can find one that specialises in helping new mums) will teach you to perform a 'pelvic tilt' or 'pelvic curl'. This movement can be done as a part of any other abdominal exercises that you do, in order to 're-engage' the lower abs, and allow them to benefit from the workout.

It can also be done during everyday activities. If you regularly do it while standing, walking, and sitting, it will soon become a habit. When this happens, your lower abs will start to be activated during ordinary movements, so that they can stay tight and.(by compressing your internal organs) help to maintain the health of your back, breathing and digestion.
