Desk jobs are the devil for snacking and gaining weight. There are several exercises you can do at your desk, simple things such as butt clenches, leg lifts, even fidgeting/moving your legs/arms etc, its also a perfect time to do some pelvic floor exercises (it may seem an elderly thing to do, but it benefits people of all ages)

As someone mentioned, have snacks ready for when those tempting snacks are around, carrot and celery sticks with a hummous dip, sugar free sweets, lollipops etc.

Could you not in your lunch hour go for a brisk 30min walk? Or to build up friendships at your workplace perhaps suggest an evening a week that you could all go swimming/to the gym/aerobics.

go for a run before or after work, lazy bones

Go see the boss in his office im sure he can help you burn a few calories

I would probably try and do a few leg lifts and hold them for about 30 secs at a time, this is bound to make you tone your thighs up, possibly find the exercises they recommend you do on an aeroplane!

sounds like your sitting nibbling at your desk also so try just bringing the cucumber, carrots and other nice veg sticks to nibble and buy one of those thigh cruncher things to do whilst at your desk or put them electronic pads that help with toning around your thighs and hips to work while your doing your job. then start walkind to and from work if possible or go to the gym b4 or after. there really is plenty of simple things to do to help yourself..
