Honestly you should be back to normal in accouple of days if you really swam 6 days a week. Eating junk food for 2 weeks isnt going to do much harm to your body especially if you were in great shape before you got sick which i think is the case. Your fine dont worry.

You probably didn't gain any weight especially if you were throwing up when you had the flu!! If you threw up when you had the flu you probably lost a little bit of weight and maby gained it back with the junk food but if you go back to your regular swimming then you should be fine!!

You should take those extra pounds off in no time at all. Just stay away from the JUNK food, and keep swimming!! Good Luck.

First of all, where is your protein intake?

Anyway, you should not be too out of shape if it has only been a couple (2) weeks. However, I have seen from personal experience that a one week break every two months actually helps me out but anything over that I start losing some strength and endurance. I primarily lift weights. Anyway, don't be discouraged, it should not take you long to get back to where you were. About 2-3 weeks or so.
