3ks are a little under 2 miles...1 mile = 1.6k
1.5 k far exactly.
If you run any farther, you won't be able to make it home in 3 k.
K as in Kilo, that is 1,000 units. So the correct way would be to call it a 3 km (kilometer) run.
Using my convert.exe tells me 3 km equals 1.864114 miles.
