Only with a realistic weight loss plan with good diet, you will be able to achieve it easily.

In order to have ideal weight. few things to take note.

Calories and Weight

A pound of fat equals 3500 calories. To lose 1 pound a week you will need to expend 3500 more calories than you eat that week, whether through increased activity or
decreased eating or both. Losing 1-2 pounds of fat a week is a sensible goal

Healthy diet

- Take the stairs instead of the lift
- Keep walking whilst the escalator caries you up
- Walk or cycle instead of driving short distances

Diet
- Little salt - always read the label
- Aim to have five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables daily

5 Top Tips
1. Keep an accurate food diary
2. Set healthy and manageable goals
3. Ensure you make healthy choices within your routine
4. Be proud about your progress
5. Make a strong commitment towards lifelong changes

burgers

Apples and other fresh fruits
and Fresh Vegetables as well if you cook them without cream sauces and butter sauces - they can still be quite tasty.

If you have a sweet tooth then replace sweets with fruit.
Rasperries, strawberries, peaches, grapes, bananas- yum!

You can add some fruit to oatmeal. There are dfferent flavored yogurts, but make sure you check the calories! All yogurt is not created equal. There are lots of good pre-packaged 100 calorie snacks. Make sure you are eating 100% whole wheat bread. Check the label because the bread makers are very sneaky. The package will say whole wheat, but it is NOT made with 100% whole wheat. You can have jelly on bread. There are lots of ways to cook vegetables (not fried) and of course fruit is always good. Good luck! You can do it!

One of my favorite lunches is cilantro couscous with some kalamata olives, a tabbouleh stuffed grape leaf, a warm whole what pita and some hummus. If it's around (which in my case it usually is) maybe a small bit of roasted lamb or chicken sliced on top of the couscous.
It's got fiber, lots of anti-oxidants and protein and gives a great afternoon 'pick me up' with wonderful flavor. If I have unexpected company at any time of day, these are often the foods I put out along with some fresh fruits, and they are always greeted with enthusiasm..
Check out some ethnic cookbooks and you'll find many healthy, flavorful ideas. Particularly middle eastern, Indian, Asian and S. American.

Ban processed foods and foods high in saturated fat, and 'play' with fruits, veggies, spices and healthy oils for your flavor.
Eat fresh fruits but limit fruit juices.
Watch your beverages in general, they are often a source of 'surprise' calories for many people.
And if it's white- don't eat it. (Obviously excluding white fruits and veggies). Processed bleached sugar, flour, etc. adds no nutritional value to food and turns to fat. A few friends who, over the years, have come to me with questions about losing/ maintaining weight have gotten this advice from me, and by only replacing white sugar with raw sugar and discarding foods made with it from their diets (sodas etc.)and breads/pastries/cereals made with bleached flours from their diets, they have each lost and then maintained weight with this simple adaptation. Also check out the glycemic index. A body wasn't meant for three large meals a day and this habit that many have can really pack on weight!

If you're on a diet, you need to avoid these as much as possible:

-- Trans fat (any type of partially or fully hydrogenated oil)
-- High fructose corn syrup (soft drinks are LOADED with it)
-- Fast food
-- Junk food
-- White sugar, white flour, white rice, white potatoes
-- The deadly C
