It's always hard when someone does not want to change. You really need to gently let him know the serious health consequences of being overweight, let along energy levels and self confidence. Maybe you can start exercising with him or even cook for him a couple nights a week. He will probably enjoy spending some extra time with you and when you have a workout partner you will be much more likely to succeed. If his motivation increases he could try out http://www.alfitness.com.au to keep track of his calorie intake and make sure he is achieving a balanced diet.

Have a trusted family friend speak to him about your concerns

You prepare some healthy meals for him. He will be touched by such a thoughtful gesture. After all it is your responsibility as a child to take care of parents eventhough you're just a teenager.

Thats a tough thing. Maybe prepare meals together?
Add veggies to the KD. Get him to go for walks with you, and get him to drink more water
