Will this diet plan work for me?!


Question: Male.150 lbs. Age 21: How long would it take if I consumed less than 650 calories per day and cut my fat intake to under 9 g? I'm eating very high protein meals and 3 fruits a day. I drink over a gallon of cold water everyday and have a fast metabolism. Are we looking at over 3 weeks?

Man that's very little calories! I also watch my carb intake, and altho I am not a male, I wish to say that I have lost about 20 pounds in about 6 weeks! The thing is, you have to do it the safe way... by eating lots and LOTS of green veggies to fill yourself up on. If you aren't careful, you will just gain it all back. So you do need to cheat once in a while to stay sane! I also exercise regularly, which is important. Just don't kill yourself! By the way, you did NOT mention your height... You say you are 6'1"???! You don't need to lose weight at all! Perhaps just maintain what you're at. Lover454 may have a good point!

well if u have a fast metabolism you are going to loose weight fast but why would you wanto??!!

personally 150 at age 21 seems like a good weight.

dude dam thats a good plan you should loose weight in no time but be careful with that kind of diet

you should go to the gym at 5:00am to 7:00am but other than that that is good

youre already underweight..
but if you really need to loose weight do a 1200 calorie diet, no soda.

nothing lower than 1200 calories.
if you exercise a lot id say to do a 1500-1600 calorie diet.
eat lean cuisines! you can loose 10-15 pounds in 2 weeks.

If you have a fast metabolism then you have to be thin already. So DONT lose. My suggestion is talk to someone who can deal with an eating disorder.

Ppl who have fast metabolisms who want to lose weight have an eating disorder. You may be heading for anorexia

Men can recover from eating disorders, but it is a long process. Relapse is common, and impulses to restrict eating or over exercise can be lifelong. Overeaters Anonymous and Anorexia/Bulimia Anonymous can offer support to supplement treatment

you'd be like 90lb in 3 weeks and you'll barely be able to stand on your legs because they'd be so thin.

You shouldn't worry about if you have a fast metabolism.
And you should be eating AT LEAST 2000 - 2500 calories per day 650 calories is wayy to low.

More calories = more energy
More FAT calories = fat

If you are trying to loose weight, avoid fat calories, not calories in general!
