Can you lose weight just with diet, if so, how?!


Question: sure, you eat less calories than you burn each day and you lose weight.

here is the thing, studies show what works. people who lose weight and keep it off long term do it by eating healthy (not dieting) and becoming active. studies have proven over and over that diets dont work long term. they can take the weight off, but people cant live on a diet forever, so when they start a normal life they havent changed thier behavior and the weight comes right back. you really need to eat right and exercise.

Yes you can, my mom lost 40 lbs with weight watchers.....and she doesnt ever excercize. Its just better if you do though.....?

you sure can! But the benefits of exercise are awesome! 1. You can lose weight faster
2. you can increase muscle mass which raises your metabolism so you burn more calories while resting or doing nothing!
