Try incorporating more weight / resistance training into your fitness regimen, along with focusing on increasing your intake of lean protein.

Building muscle will help to 'fill you out' a little bit, as well as keep your metabolism working, to prevent you gaining that 'tummy' that happens when you stop working out.

I think 'normal' weight is all relative. If you don't think you're too skinny, have a good appetite and energy levels, sleep well and function properly overall, your weight is probably just fine.

Believe me when I say that later in life, when your metabolism naturally starts to slow down, you'll wish you had this problem! ;-) Just take good care of yourself, and you'll be great!

I would try out some of the Smoothie King or homemade protein smoothies (with whey). Drink these along with lots of weight lifting. Weight lift 3-4 times a week (allow 48 hours of rest between sessions).

go macdonalds

When I used to do a lot of Gymnastics and could not gain weight due to the exercise and my fast metabolism, my doctor told me to start drinking ensure instead of juice or water or milk... Some of the flavors are not so bad, but if you really hate it then I recommend using the vanilla flavor in the place of milk in your cereal (if you eat cereal). The stuff was actually made as a high calorie nutritional supplement for people who could not eat solid food. 5' 10" and 117 Lbs. is pretty thin, but not unheard of. I would suggest you go to your doctor and voice your concerns. It is possible you could have a thyroid problem or something... Otherwise, just eat the best you can, increase your calories and be happy with it... A friend of mine wad a very similar body type until she was about 20, at which point her metabolism slowed a bit and she is up to what is considered "normal". As long as your doctor says you are healthy then you shouldn't be too concerned.

It depends on what weight you want. Muscle is hard to gain, but (ask any bodybuilder) you can specifically target some area. Fat is vey easy to gain, but you have no control over distribution. Hence the tummy

Since you are a teen, you will definitely gain A LOT of weight as bone density and length increase. Muscle and fat depend more on genetics, especially sex. Sadly, there is no way to rush this process, so unless you pump or pig out, hang tight, and review the situation in 5 yrs!
