Motivation..?!

Question: The heat REALLY hits me! I am wanting to start a healthy life style again, and lose weight this month inclusive of exercise but I am really really drained, more than ever before- I just cant motivate myself this time. I think it's the heat, I really have no energy to just get out there and start exercising. Maybe I need to make some drastic diet changes. Any suggestions?

when i wanted to motivation to lose weight i found this helped me:
-get a notebook and write down your current weight and then what your ideal weight is
-write down a diet plan and write what you should eat most of e.g. fruit, water. and what you should eat least of e.g.chocolate soda.
-write out an exercise plan and how long you plan to do it, when you find a new effective exercise write it down and include it
-read the book every mnorning to remind yourself what you want to achive
-at the end of every day tick of what exercises you've done and write down what you've eaten
-if there is any food down there that you couldn't help splurging on, circle it and remind yourself the next morning that you must not allow yourself to weaken
-if you really hate your body stick in an unflattering photo of it to remind yourself what your trying to change.

hope this helps, good luck!

I felt the same way what i did was start on a calorie diet...and got into a yoga class..the class if very relaxing and you get excersize done as well...

are you stupid !!!!! watch your god damn calorie intake its not that god damn hard !!!! dont eat more that 1500 calories a day !!! also exercise !!! jog whenever u can !!!. if u cant follow those simple 2 things then just give up on life.

Exercise when it's the coolest outside.
I suggest doing some exercises that get the legs moving, such as walking, jogging, running, swimming or bike riding.
These exercises that really get your heart pumping will burn the weight off quickly.

I like push ups, yoga stretches, pull ups, crunches, curl ups, leg stretches, calf raises, and squats as far as being good toning exercises that use no equipment and cost zero money to perform.

I like taking some dumbbells and doing some easy bicep curls, military presses, and lateral raises.

I think diet is important also and try to eat healthy home-cooked meals with lots of vegetables in them.

I try to stay away from the pop and sugar, candy, white flour products, and fast food.

I try to get a good night's sleep each night.

Try buying an exercise DVD. For me, this eliminated my excuses. (too hot, too cold, cant find my workout shoes, dont feel like driving, cant afford the gym- I am now without any excuses). You can find some pretty cheap ones on Amazon.
