-Stop drinking soda. This adds a lot of unnecessary calories!
-Don't grab for chips and cookies. Eat veggies, fruits, and breads and/or grains instead.
-If you go out to eat at a fast food place, try to order a salad or a baked potato or a sandwich with grilled chicken. If you can help it, don't go out to eat or to a fast food place and just eat at home.
-Eat slower. If you eat slower, you will get full and realize you are full before you eat that whole plate of food.
-Don't put a bunch of fatty dressings on your salad. Use fat free dressings. If you add croutons, bacon bits, cheese, and heavy dressings to a salad you might as well eat a big burger made from lean beef. Seriously. Look into how many calories are in those dressings.
-Drink lots of water

Remember, muscle weighs more than fat so a lot of your weight may just be from your muscles from swimming. As long as you are fit and eat right, you're healthy and good.

Cardio is the best way to loose fat. Swimming is a great form of cardio but it also causes muscle gain.

Try yourself on a running program, or if your not quite a runner, try power walking for 2min, then run 5 min back to walk etc. In no time you can increase your run time and decrease your walking times.

Make sure you stay hydrated and lower your carbs while uping your protien intake.
