Is there a way to put your body on a tiolet schedule?!


Question: Now, I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of smart alekey answers here, but I'm actually serious.

I don't like pooping at work, so I'm wondering if there's a way that I can put my body on a schedule somehow so that it happens in the evenings after work or in the mornings before work, rather than right after lunch or whatever.

Or is it just based on when and what you eat, and it's unlikely that you can control it?

Funny question, but a good one!

I don't think you can really train your body to be on a schedule, but if you control what you eat and when daily, you should be able to control when your body is done with that food, as it were.

If you eat a lot of fiber early in the day, then by mid afternoon your body is going to be pushing it out, so try to save your high fiber meals for later in the day - lunch at 2:00 or so, or oatmeal as an afternoon snack. Count on 5-6 hours to digest, so 6-7 hours to expel. If you eat at 2:00, you've got until 6:00 or 7:00 at night.

I know allot of fiber helps you get a regular time for it. So in general thats the best way I know of to try and control it.

Monitor how long your body takes to process the foods you eat and do not eat for the amount of time while at work also if you want to go before work use laxatives the night before to empty your colon before you head to work

I heard something about eatting an apple half an hour before and then it'll make you go to the washroom.

Yes. i actually have one myself.
since im in high school and my classes are 90 mins each, i only have certains times when i can go. my body starts getting use to it by tuesday and at the same time every day i have to pee right around 9:00. i think it only works for pee though.

In order to control when it comes out, you have to control when it goes in. I think it takes about 7 hours to digest, but you just have to experiment with eating schedules.

mine seems to be like that naturally..i would never poop in public but as soon as i get home i seem to get the urge. haha
and i only poop once a day, always at 3:00. =p

Drink alot of apple juice about 30 mins before you want to go. It is a natural laxitive so you will get it all out before work! Thats really the only thing I can think of....Intresting question
